What is the LaCie 6big Thunderbolt 3?
A 6 bay RAID drive with both Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C connections making it one of the most versatile performance drives we sell. Capture RAW footage from a RED® cinema camera or a shuttle drive (such as the LaCie Rugged RAID), edit multiple streams of ProRes 422 (HQ) or ProRes 4444 XQ, and speed through preview rendering on your biggest projects. This drive may be big in capacity but its small in footprint.
Who’s it ideal for?
Video editors looking for great performance at reasonable cost and flexible connectivity. Post houses looking for affordable local storage to dump raw media or as a Master drive for DITs on-set.
How fast is it?
When set to RAID 0 you can expect speeds up to 1400MB/s and 1200MB/s under RAID 5.
What does it work with?
Mac or PC computers with a USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 port. Also works over USB 3.0 with the included cable and over Thunderbolt 2 with an adaptor sold separately.

What’s the support?
The LaCie 6big has a 5-year limited manufacturer warranty. In addition you get Advance Replacement support, If your system fails, simply make a claim and you’ll have a replacement unit within a few days, with 25 days to return the failed unit.
